March 3 2026 Update

I have a couple of quick yet significant updates to share about the Chocolate Eclair platform tonight:

Searchable Driver and Team Dropdowns

This is a quick change but a big usability improvement. The dropdowns to choose drivers and teams when making predictions are now searchable.

Timezones Added

Another small change that will hopefully make the site much more clear. All times, for example the deadline for predictions, now include the users current timezone. The website already adjusts the global race calendar to show the proper times in the users current timezone and this makes it clear exactly what that timezone is.

UI Cleanup

I redesigned some parts of the UI including:

• I removed an old section on the leaderboard page that was showing a blank table for full-season predictions. I still need to figure out how best to include full season predictions on the leaderboard page but that can wait until the end of the season when those results are scored and meaningful.
• I redesigned the countdown timers to not have such a crazy amount of horizontal space between the numbers.
